Welcome To Hoopless In Seattle

The Sonics are still gone, but every day brings new hope that they will in fact return to our great city. And with that hope brings the creation of the newest site on the Fansided Network.

Last week, Chris Hansen and the Seattle City council came to an agreement to build a basketball arena. The Arena still faces some major challenges, but at this point the odds of it getting built are high enough that we can definitely assume that it will happen.

With an arena, we can also assume that the NBA will return to Seattle. While the league is doing well as a whole, there are many teams that aren’t fairing well financially. The prospect of a state of the art facility in a market as large as this is a dream come true for the NBA.

And with the prospect of getting our beloved team back, we’ve decided to launch a new site for fellow Sonics fans. Since we wont have a team for at least another year, this site wont just be covering the team. We will also be covering the rest of the NBA, as well as taking a look at the rest of Seattle-area sports teams from time to time.

Welcome to our new site. I really hope you like it.
